Smugo Great for riding your bike very fast through a city where all the buildings are evil and talking to you.

Mohemian Amazing blend of Norwegian style lo-fi Black Metal (but not the high speed kind), D-Beat, and Crust. Spike that with Latin folklore and the hypnotic rhythm of early releases by German Black Metalers Verdunkeln. It will strike you how much emotional impact this one-man project achieves with such a simplistic musical style, combined with meaningful lyrics. Favorite track: el wekufe.

X Wild Alaskan Salmonella X This is similar to what Norway's Haust were doing with black metal and punk, but Invunche has so much more raw power and rage bleeding through. I can't imagine a better mixture of black metal, anarcho-punk, post-punk, and industrial. Invunche is a project to keep your eyes on.

YomaBarr This is great. Punks and metalheads unite and rejoice in this album.

Fjordlord This is incredible minimal Black Metal and it makes me very happy. Favorite track: entre el mar y la montaña.

mordendemstervold Capturing the original feral spirit of Ildjarn, with some fluidity of Darkthrone, contrasting with the rigid and controlled Brutalistic human element; Invunche's 'II' really manifests itself as an authentic monument in today's underground landscape. Making "old" meet "new" and without forcing the matter or becoming political, he pays homage to his ancestry. This is not one of those superficial, anemic "art-black metal" affairs we often see these days. One of the best demo tapes of 2018. Favorite track: la machi.
